Remembering Deputy Ted Hernandez
The KCDSA would like to a moment to pause on the one-year anniversary of the passing of Kings County Deputy Ted Hernandez. We remember him and the impact his death had on many of us. Ted was a good friend and Deputy Sheriff whom we miss dearly. Ted served his community well, especially as a Deputy Sheriff Bailiff working the Kings County Superior Court. May the good Lord be with his friends and family.

It is with great regret that, for the first time in the event's history, the 39th Annual National Peace officers' Memorial Service in Washington, D.C. has been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
