President's Message
It is my honor and privilege to serve as President of the Kings County Deputy Sheriff's Association (KCDSA). Being able to lead a great organization like the KCDSA is quite humbling. The men and women in the KCDSA are some of the finest members of law enforcement anywhere in this Nation. Each member takes pride in serving you and keeping you, your family and property safe, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, rain or shine.
The day and age we live and work in are challenging for all of law enforcement. The KCDSA strives to represent, support and defend our members. These fine members interact in the community through public events and volunteering their time to make Kings County a better place. We highlight the great investigations and heroic acts our members do and bring to light how they go above and beyond in their day to day work.
The KCDSA is committed to working with the County of Kings and our elected representatives both at the local and state level. We will work with the Kings County Board of Supervisors to ensure our members who sacrifice so much receive competitive pay and benefits for the dangerous work they do each day. Our members stare evil in the face every day and have the daunting task of having to deal with high crime rates and State laws that make the job of protecting our citizens much more difficult. The members of the KCDSA are human but are expected to handle each situation with perfection while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
So, if you see a Deputy Sheriff or District Attorney Investigator thank them and appreciate them for the sacrifices they make.
Respectfully,
